GE Appliances Home Assistant Adapter
FirmwareSend appliance readings to your own MQTT server
GE's adapter firmware reads a compatible appliance's GEA3 service port and sends its registers to your local MQTT message broker. With Home Assistant, a home automation server, those readings can drive notifications, histories and supported controls without SmartHQ.
You need the FirstBuild adapter or compatible hardware and must compile Wi-Fi and broker settings into the firmware. Check the exact model and bus protocol: the supplied firmware covers listed laundry, dishwasher, cooking and water-heater models, while older GEA2 appliances need different firmware.
