openHAB Midea AC binding
Plug-inControl cooling and humidity from openHAB
This binding brings compatible Midea air conditioners and dehumidifiers into openHAB, a home automation hub you run yourself. It reads settings and sends commands directly over the appliance's local Wi-Fi connection, with temperature, humidity and energy readings where the appliance reports them.
You need a stock controller using Midea LAN V2 or V3 and an openHAB server. New V3 devices need a token and key: the updated SmartHome setup is available in the maintainer's standalone 5.3 binding, while stable 5.2.3 still has the older cloud setup. Existing valid keys can be entered manually, and V2 devices do not need that cloud handshake.
