Plug-inRun Midea appliances through local automations
Midea AC LAN connects air conditioners and dehumidifiers to Home Assistant, a home automation server. It keeps a local TCP connection for controls and state updates, with extra switches and sensors for features the appliance exposes.
The appliance must use a supported Midea LAN protocol and device type. V3 setup needs saved credentials or a personal SmartHome or Meiju account with the appliance bound to it. The current instructions say NetHome Plus cannot retrieve tokens and migrated SmartHome accounts cannot retrieve them either.
