Keep RingConn readings on your own local server
This prototype is designed to download RingConn Gen 2 readings over Bluetooth to an ESP32 board and store them on your server over local Wi-Fi. Its web app shows measurements and trends and exports CSV; Home Assistant, a home automation server, can read the supplied REST sensors.
You need a supported ESP32 board, USB flashing and a local collector. The author says physical ring syncing and iPhone installation are untested.
It does not provide proprietary sleep stages, recovery scores, daily step totals or Apple Health sync. Acknowledging history can prevent the official app from receiving those same records. The current source has a noncommercial license.
