Open GoPro Capture CLI
Command lineCapture and download photos or clips from a terminal
Open GoPro’s capture commands take a photo or a timed video on a connected camera and download the result to your computer. The video command also saves the clip’s GPMF sensor data. No GoPro account or subscription is needed.
Use a HERO10–13 Black with Open GoPro API 2.0 and Python on your computer. Connect through Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, or through USB network control. These are single-capture demos: when a recording spans several files, only one is downloaded, and HERO11 Mini is not covered here.
