NTPods
AppExperimental AirPods playback and controls on Windows
This NTPods continuation adds its own Windows playback driver alongside AirPods settings, battery, ear detection and sensor views over Bluetooth. The author verified AAC and AAC-ELD stereo with the higher-quality AirPods Pro 3 microphone, while AirPods Pro 1 passed playback checks with that microphone feature disabled.
The experimental direct Bluetooth setup needs Windows 11 x64, test-signed drivers and changes to the PC Bluetooth identity. Other registered models are partly supported, microphone recovery briefly interrupts playback, and hearing-assistance switches need a fitting already created on an iPhone.
- Fix audio quality, delays and playback failures
- Change listening modes without an iPhone
- See earbud and case battery levels
- Pause audio when you remove an earbud
- Use head movement and sensors in other apps
- Switch between Apple and non-Apple devices
- Native AAC/AAC-ELD playback driver and bitrate settings
- Protected identity matching for nearby battery reports
- Live movement graph and Pro 3 heart-rate stream
- Optional transfer and call handoff via LibrePods
