A fast Linux system for Anbernic and TrimUI handhelds
muOS (MustardOS) is a custom firmware that you write to an SD card and boot on a supported handheld. It replaces the stock menus with its own frontend, themes, per-game core and control settings, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, RetroAchievements (achievements for retro games), and installers for PortMaster (ports of PC games) and Syncthing (a file-sync tool for saves).
The current release is 2606.0 Andromeda. Its device list covers the Anbernic RG28XX, RG34XX, RG35XX and RG40XX lines, the RG CubeXX, the RG Vita Pro and RG SP, the BatleXP G350, the GKD Pixel 2 and the TrimUI Brick, Brick Pro and Smart Pro.
Use a separate 16 GB or larger SD card to preserve the original card; flashing erases the chosen card. muOS does not include games or emulator BIOS files; you add your own.
