Self-hostedConnect MQTT devices through a broker on your Green
Mosquitto relays messages between devices and apps that use MQTT, a common home-automation messaging protocol. The official Home Assistant OS app runs the broker on your Green and connects it to Home Assistant.
Install the Mosquitto broker app, create an authenticated user and configure each client with the same connection details. The broker provides no radio hardware; Zigbee, Thread and Bluetooth devices still need their own supported bridge or adapter.
