This Home Assistant app runs a WireGuard VPN server on the hub. A configured phone or computer can connect back to the home network using an encrypted tunnel.
You need to configure network access, client peers and the relevant firewall or router settings. It is a VPN server, not a client for joining an existing commercial VPN service.
