Plug-inUse cloud-connected Midea appliances in Home Assistant
Midea Auto Cloud connects appliances in MSmartHome or Meiju accounts to Home Assistant, a home automation server. It downloads the matching device protocol scripts and maps reported values into controls and sensors. The source includes air-conditioner and dehumidifier mappings.
Commands and readings go through Midea’s private app cloud, so internet access and a working vendor account remain necessary. The exact device script and subtype determine which controls appear. Unsupported subtypes may expose raw status attributes while their entity mapping still needs work.
