LYRIQ Battery Widget
AppSee your LYRIQ's charge on your home screen
LYRIQ Battery Widget puts charge percentage and estimated range on your Android home screen. It reads entities from Home Assistant, a home automation system; with the documented OnStar2MQTT setup, those readings originate in GM's private OnStar API.
Install the published Android APK and configure your Home Assistant token and entities. Fresh readings need working OnStar access for your VIN, which may be included with the vehicle or require an eligible paid plan. The current reader can show unavailable battery data as 0%, so check the source entity before trusting that value.
An alternative connection uses Smartcar, a third-party API service with separate limits and optional fees. It is not GM's own developer API.
