Boot your Pi into a dedicated media center
LibreELEC starts your Raspberry Pi directly in Kodi so you can browse and play your own local or network media. The project supplies separate bootable images for supported Pi generations.
Use the image for your exact Pi and write it to separate or backed-up boot media. Official images cover Pi 3, Pi 4, Pi 5 and the documented Compute Module 4 route. Codec, display and sound support depend on the hardware; optional add-ons have their own requirements. Use it on a trusted home network and change default credentials if enabling remote access.
