AppMake sideloaded apps visible to Android Auto
KingInstaller installs an APK with Google Play recorded as its installer, which can make some sideloaded apps visible in Android Auto. It changes package metadata on the phone rather than installing software in the car.
The project provides ordinary installation, Shizuku and root routes, with results that depend on the phone manufacturer and Android build. Shizuku is a helper that lets an app use Android system privileges through debugging or root; the project reports that some Xiaomi, POCO and Redmi software still requires root.
Changing installer identity does not make an incompatible app work or remove every Android Auto admission check. Use it only for software you are entitled to install, and verify the resulting app while parked.
