Fermata Auto
AppPlay your files on the Android Auto screen
Fermata Auto plays music and other media from folders, playlists and supported network sources on your Android phone. Its car build adds Android Auto media browsing and a separate full projection interface for parked use.
Install the Auto APK from the project and check whether your phone and Android Auto version admit it. The full interface uses undocumented Android Auto classes, so ordinary sideloading or the Unknown sources setting is not a guarantee that it will appear.
Use your own files or services you are entitled to access. Fullscreen Mirror is disabled in the current release because of Android Auto 17.3, and reports for Android 16 include both working installations and missing apps.
- Play your own music, podcasts and audiobooks
- Use apps missing from the car screen
- Folder-specific playback positions
- Bookmarks and playback-speed controls
- CUE and M3U playlists
- Per-folder audio effects
