HyperPods
Plug-inHear Android notifications through your AirPods
HyperPods is a plug-in for LSPosed, a framework for modifying Android app behavior, that reads selected phone notifications aloud through connected AirPods. It uses Android's notification listener and text-to-speech engine, and only speaks when audio is routed to a matching headset.
The documented setup targets HyperOS 4 on Android 16 and requires installing and enabling the LSPosed module, plus notification access. Its author reports successful readout on physical hardware through the app-level fallback when the Bluetooth hook did not inject; the AirPods generation is unspecified.
Public source is available, but no project-wide reuse license is stated.
- Control AirPods from Android
- Choose which apps are read aloud
- Merge repeated message notifications
- Optional readout only while the screen is locked
- Music volume reduction during speech
