openHAB Home Connect Direct
Plug-inUse appliances in openHAB over your local network
This binding connects openHAB, a self-hosted smart-home hub, directly to Home Connect appliances. It provides model-dependent programs, status events and controls. Fridge and freezer handlers include target temperatures, door states and cooling modes.
Download each appliance profile from your Home Connect account first, then upload it through the binding console. Everyday appliance communication stays on the local network. Refrigerator/freezer, hood and hob support is marked beta in the documentation.
