Home Connect Local (vemboy200)
Plug-inKeep fridge controls and alerts on your network
This Home Assistant plug-in reads Home Connect appliances directly over the local network. Home Assistant is a self-hosted smart-home hub, and the integration provides fridge and freezer target temperatures, door alarms and model-dependent program controls. It also exposes optional switches for the appliance cloud connection and consumer-usage collection.
Pair the appliance with Home Connect once and sign in or import its encrypted profile during setup. Features depend on the exact model, and some laundry machines cannot select every program remotely. Turning off the cloud switch also stops remote Home Connect app access, official cloud integrations and appliance updates until it is restored.
- Use your appliances without the Home Connect cloud
- Use appliances in your own smart home
- Get appliance alerts through your own notifications
- Optional cloud-connection switch
- Optional consumer-insights switch
- Local appliance clock synchronization
