Check LG laundry status from Apple Home
See supported LG washer, dryer and WashTower status in Apple Home through Homebridge, a bridge for devices without native HomeKit support. This plugin uses LG’s official ThinQ Connect API and a personal access token to read laundry state, with optional completion, door-lock and tub-clean indicators.
It is an experimental, read-only laundry integration. The Home app’s faucet indicator represents appliance power, not proof that a cycle is running, and tapping it cannot start or stop a cycle. You need the appliance owner’s account, the required token permissions and a supported Homebridge host; shared accounts and non-laundry appliances are outside this route.
How did it go? Tips, problems, questions…
