AppUse Watch readings in home automations
Home Assistant Companion reads selected Apple Health measurements on your iPhone and sends sensor values to Home Assistant, software for running your own home automations. Watch readings that have synced to Health can supply daily steps, distance, sleep and recent heart measurements.
You need an iPhone and a Home Assistant server, and must enable each Health sensor and grant access. The sensors provide daily totals or recent readings rather than a complete archive, and updates depend on iOS background execution and access while the phone is unlocked.
