FirmwareDiscover local appliance sensors through MQTT
This ESPHome firmware bridges a GE appliance's GEA2 or GEA3 service port to a local MQTT message broker. It discovers available registers and creates sensor and control entities in Home Assistant, a home automation server.
You need a compatible FirstBuild adapter and an MQTT broker. Refrigerator support needs model-specific checks: a GYE21JYMCFFS report describes missing setpoints and extra entities, while verified reports also cover dishwashers, laundry, water heaters and some HVAC equipment.
