FirmwareUse your Watch for room presence
ESPresense runs on ESP32 boards around your home and recognizes your Watch's Bluetooth advertisements. It sends proximity estimates to an MQTT message broker so Home Assistant, software for home automations, can use the Watch as a presence sensor.
You need ESP32 hardware and an MQTT server, then enroll your own Watch to recognize its changing Bluetooth address. This reads presence rather than health measurements, and signal strength gives an approximate distance that needs calibration.
