Self-hostedSend Watch presence to your home server
Theengs Gateway listens for Bluetooth advertisements and publishes decoded information to an MQTT message broker. With your Watch's Bluetooth identity key, it can recognize the Watch across address changes and expose presence to Home Assistant, software for home automations.
You need a Bluetooth-equipped computer, an MQTT server and the Watch's identity address and key. It reads presence and supported advertisement fields rather than your health history, and obtaining the key is an extra setup step.
