ESPHome Midea XYE
FirmwareControl an XYE-equipped unit over its wired bus
This ESPHome component reads and controls compatible Midea units through their XYE or CCM wired controller bus. It brings modes, fan settings and supported temperatures into Home Assistant, a home automation hub, and can pass an external room temperature to the unit’s Follow Me function.
You need an ESP32 or ESP8266 and an RS485 interface connected to a verified XYE bus. It uses the Arduino framework, swing control is not working, and automatic heat/cool switching needs a separate thermostat or automation.
