DDCcontrol
AppControl Dell display inputs and settings from Linux
DDCcontrol provides command-line and graphical controls for monitor settings. Its U2723QE profile includes input selection, picture-in-picture modes, USB-KVM routing and standard display controls, so supported changes can be made from Linux.
Use a direct DisplayPort connection with DDC/CI enabled and a recent monitor database containing the DEL4278 profile. The verified route is U2723QE DisplayPort 1. Other connections and monitor firmware may expose different controls; the project does not support DDC/CI carried over USB.
