couchOS
AppReplace the rooted LG home screen and manage updates
couchOS is a rooted-webOS home-screen fork with its own manager, update and rollback workflow, themes and optional voice integrations. The author tested an OLED65G26LA running webOS 25. It needs root and Homebrew Channel or SSH; generic webOS 5+ claims do not establish compatibility with every LG TV.
- Remove ads from the home screen
- Install apps from outside the store
- Install a replacement rooted-webOS home screen
- Manage updates and roll back the frontend
