Live Activities for Car Thing
Plug-inPut iPhone Live Activities on your desk
Live Activities for Car Thing displays your iPhone's ongoing timers, progress and other Live Activities through Bridgething, the platform that runs apps on the screen. It reads the activity database and rendered view archives that macOS already receives from your iPhone, then redraws them on Car Thing.
Your Mac must remain running and connected to Car Thing over USB, with the same Apple Account as your iPhone. The plugin needs macOS 26, iOS 26 and Full Disk Access for Bridgething, and Apple's undocumented archive format can change.
- Give it a new job
- Live timer and progress updates
- Automatic activity foregrounding
- Native vector rendering of mirrored activities
