BYD China for Home Assistant
Plug-inRead China-region car data in Home Assistant
BYD China brings battery and fuel readings, range, tyre pressure, door status and location into Home Assistant, a home automation server. It uses the private Chinese BYD app API, with implemented selectors for Dynasty, Ocean and Denza accounts. Home Assistant can record the readings and use them in automations.
Install the custom integration and sign in with the primary car owner's account; the author reports that delegated accounts cannot fetch telemetry or GPS. The integration reads status and location without exposing remote driving or climate controls. The latest release is from May 2026, and current end-to-end access for each brand is unverified.
