MCP serverLet an AI client control your Apple TV
Apple TV MCP exposes local Apple TV controls to an AI client through the Model Context Protocol. It uses pyatv for app launching, navigation, playback and text entry, with an optional separate helper for screenshots.
You need Python 3.14, an MCP client and a paired Apple TV on the local network. The project is marked beta, and its screenshot helper is tested with fake transports rather than Apple TV hardware; that helper additionally requires tvOS 17+, Developer Mode and developer pairing.
