The Honeywell device configurations in Z-Wave JS, a local radio driver, identify T6 Pro Z-Wave thermostats and expose their device-specific settings and compatibility workarounds. Used through Home Assistant, a home automation hub, they accompany local temperature, setpoint and HVAC controls and allow thermostat readings to drive automations.
Install the Z-Wave JS app and pair the thermostat with a compatible Z-Wave adapter; no Resideo account or subscription is needed. Owner reports describe missing setpoint controls with some S2 pairings and missing operating-state updates on battery power, so check both before relying on those values.
