Connect HomeKit devices directly to Home Assistant
HomeKit Device pairs supported HomeKit accessories with Home Assistant, a home automation server, over their supported local connection. It exposes the controls and sensors each accessory actually publishes through HomeKit. Devices using Bluetooth need a nearby adapter or proxy; Thread devices need a suitable Thread network.
You need the accessory’s pairing code, and an existing Apple Home pairing may need to be removed before pairing. Maker-specific functions and cloud history are not generally available. For ecobee, this route cannot edit schedules, select auxiliary heat or retrieve cloud runtime history.
Also works with Philips Hue, Lutron, Meross, Schlage, and Aqara
