Xtend Tuya
Plug-inExpose more Tuya readings in Home Assistant
Xtend Tuya adds device features and readings that the standard Tuya integration does not expose in Home Assistant, a home automation server. It uses Tuya's sharing cloud and can also query a linked developer cloud project. Supported metering devices can contribute energy entities and consumption statistics.
Install it through HACS, Home Assistant's community integration installer, and follow its account setup. Importing cloud energy statistics requires developer credentials and the documented Beta APIs entitlement. Device mappings vary, and the project warns that it uses unsupported Home Assistant internals.
- Use your devices in your own smart home
- Keep your energy and sensor history
- Choose how your lights and switches behave
- Additional datapoints and entities
- Energy-dashboard statistics
- Optional developer-cloud data
