FirmwareRun compatible switches and sensors locally
Tasmota replaces compatible Espressif firmware with local web controls, MQTT and on-device timers or rules. It supports relays, lights and sensors, including the serial Tuya MCU inside some switches and dimmers. Supported models also include the original Shelly 1 and specific Sonoff boards.
You need a template for the exact device and a suitable way to flash its ESP8266, ESP8285 or ESP32 module. Board revisions can change under the same product name; Beken and Realtek chips are not supported. Flashing replaces the maker’s firmware and cloud connection.
