Kindle Dashboard
DashboardTurn a Paperwhite 3 into a Chinese-language dashboard
Adds a clock, weather, markets, news, calendar and to-do dashboard while retaining a KOReader library and continue-reading route. It supports portrait and landscape layouts and fetches article text only when opened.
Experimental and verified only on jailbroken Paperwhite 3 firmware 5.14.3.0.1, KOReader 2026.07.1, FBInk, Chinese keyboard data and the KMC launch path. Its ARMv7 input structures and display settings need adaptation elsewhere. Always-on use consumes battery, and remote weather, news and market feeds may change or be delayed.
- Turn it into an information display
- Change the reader and home screen
- Portrait and landscape dashboard
- KOReader return-to-dashboard integration
