KOReader
AppRead EPUB, PDF and comics in a better reader
KOReader is an alternative reading app for e-ink readers. It opens DRM-free EPUB, PDF, DjVu, FB2 and comic files, reflows PDFs to fit the screen, and adds detailed type settings, dictionaries and downloads from your own book server.
On a Kindle it needs a jailbreak that matches your model and firmware; the 2026 Kindle and the newest Scribes have none yet. It can't open KFX or DRM-protected store books.
- Read books from any store
- Use it without an Amazon account
- Change the reader and home screen
- PDF reflow and cropping
- Downloads from your book server
- Reading statistics and dictionaries
