WordDumb
Plug-inAdd Word Wise and X-Ray to books you load yourself
WordDumb is a plugin for calibre, the desktop ebook manager, that builds Word Wise (short definitions above hard words) and X-Ray (guides to characters and terms) for your DRM-free Kindle books. It can also add dictionary footnotes to EPUBs for other e-readers.
Send books with the plugin's own send command so the extra files reach the Kindle with the book. Word Wise needs a Kindle from 2013 or later, and Amazon China accounts aren't supported.
- Read books from any store
- Change the reader and home screen
- Choose which words get hints
- EPUB dictionary footnotes
