VanMoof SA5 for Home Assistant
Plug-inS5 and A5 battery, lock and mileage in Home Assistant
VanMoof SA5 is a custom integration for Home Assistant, the open-source home automation hub, installed through HACS. It reads an S5 or A5 over Bluetooth, through a local adapter or an ESP32 Bluetooth proxy, and shows battery, lock state, power level, light mode, speed limit and total distance. A refresh button forces an update.
The README marks it beta. It is read-only in the code I checked: the only button is Refresh. Its certificate and key pair come from VanMoof's cloud API (api.vanmoof-api.com and bikeapi.production.vanmoof.cloud), and the code asks for a new certificate when the old one nears expiry, so it depends on VanMoof's servers staying up. S6 uses a different Bluetooth service and isn't supported.
