Tuya Cloudcutter can detach supported devices from Tuya's cloud by replacing their connection keys, or install replacement firmware over Wi-Fi. Detaching keeps stock device software but gives local integrations the keys needed to control it on your network.
It needs Linux, a separate Wi-Fi adapter that can create an access point, and a matching profile for the chip and firmware. The authors call it experimental, and firmware built with Tuya's patched SDK cannot use the original exploit; Tuya's app and cloud service stop working after detaching.
