Your Traeger as a Home Assistant device
This is a Home Assistant integration (Home Assistant is open-source home-automation software) rewritten from the older sebirdman/hass_traeger code. It signs in with your Traeger account through the private API the Traeger app uses and reads live state over Traeger's cloud MQTT service. It adds temperature sensors, grill and probe thermostats, a timer, SuperSmoke and Keep Warm switches, and grill, heating and probe state sensors you can trigger automations from.
You need Home Assistant and either HACS (its community add-on store) or a manual copy of the folder. It depends on Traeger's cloud. The pellet level shows as unavailable when the grill has no pellet sensor fitted. At the last check the repo had open issues on the options flow in recent Home Assistant versions and on climate entity IDs.
Use only one Traeger Home Assistant integration at a time.
