Traeger for Home Assistant (hass_traeger)
Plug-inControl and log your Traeger in Home Assistant
This is a Home Assistant integration (Home Assistant is open-source home-automation software) that adds your Traeger grill as a device. It signs in with your Traeger account, reads grill and probe state over Traeger's cloud MQTT connection, and sends commands through the same private API the Traeger app uses. It adds climate entities for grill and probe temperature, timers, SuperSmoke and Keep Warm switches, and state sensors for grill, heating and probe.
It also provides a set_custom_cook service for multi-step cook programs, phone notifications and live activities through the Home Assistant mobile app, and a dashboard view with timer cards. You need Home Assistant with HACS (its community add-on store) and your Traeger app login. It depends on Traeger's cloud, so it stops when the grill is offline, and many sensors are off by default.
