Track Deco clients and mesh health in Home Assistant
This Home Assistant integration (Home Assistant is a home automation system you run yourself) polls the Deco's local admin web interface instead of TP-Link's cloud. It creates a device tracker per connected client, shows which Deco node each is on, and reports CPU and memory use, backhaul data and coordinator health. It has services to pause polling, resume it and reboot the Deco.
Install it through HACS (Home Assistant's add-on store). Log in with the Deco owner's TP-Link account password and the username admin; manager accounts do not work. The README suggests creating a separate manager account for the app and keeping the owner login for this integration.
It keeps one session open, so use the polling switch before managing the Deco by hand. The README names the tested models; others may work but are not listed.
Also works with Mercusys
