Save each book's highlights as a Markdown note
Tomedown turns highlights and notes from KOReader, a free reading app, into one Markdown file per book, with an optional index linking them. It saves the files on the reader or uploads them to WebDAV, Dropbox or FTP storage, ready for Obsidian, a notes app that reads Markdown.
The author has tested it on two Kindle models only; it is plain Lua that runs wherever KOReader runs, but it hasn't been tried on a Nook. Each export overwrites the file unless you turn on Keep my notes and write your own notes in the kept section.
Also works with Amazon, Kobo, PocketBook, Onyx Boox, and 3 more
