FirmwareControl the heat pump locally over CN105 or infrared
Tasmota provides a Mitsubishi Electric CN105 driver for an ESP board and a separate infrared route for compatible remotes. The CN105 driver reads unit state and offers local web and MQTT controls, while infrared sends commands without confirming the heat pump’s actual state.
The wired route needs a build with MiElHVAC enabled and suitable CN105 wiring; the infrared route needs an IR-capable build and transmitter. Extra modes, sensors and vane controls depend on the indoor unit, and neither route needs a Mitsubishi cloud account. The CN105 route means opening the indoor unit and wiring a small board to its CN105 port; the infrared route does not.
