Suunto Data Downloader
Command lineBack up workouts from the Suunto China app
Suunto Data Downloader saves workouts from the Suunto China app's private cloud API as FIT and SML JSON files. It skips files already downloaded and can rename them by sport and date, with optional FIT validation.
You need a session key extracted from the app on an already-rooted Android phone, plus Python and ADB on a computer. The international endpoint is only suggested as something to try, so this listing covers the China account path; expired sessions must be extracted again.
- Automate backups of your workout history
- Use your readings in your own apps
- Incremental FIT and SML JSON backup
- Readable file names
- Optional FIT integrity checks
