Surface DTX daemon
Command lineDetach the Surface Book screen on Linux
The Surface DTX daemon coordinates screen detachment and reattachment on a Surface Book. It can run handlers before the latch unlocks and show desktop notifications when the screen is ready to remove or the base is ready to use.
Install it with a working Surface ACPI driver and configure the included attach and detach handlers. Upstream supports Surface Book 2 and 3. Surface Pro and Surface Laptop models do not use this detachment system.
