FirmwareRun Linux with patches for Surface hardware
The Linux Surface kernel adds hardware patches for supported Surface PCs. It can improve access to touch, pen, keyboard and other components, with support tracked separately for each model.
Install it alongside a recoverable standard kernel and follow the distribution-specific instructions. Cameras, suspend and other features can remain limited.
