AppManage older Suunto watches over USB
Sommet reads activities and manages routes, settings and workouts on older Suunto watches through USB or Android USB OTG. Local GPX and FIT exports work without a Suunto cloud account; optional external-service connections have their own accounts.
The author reports Ambit3, Traverse and Kailash testing on Android and Linux. Mac and Windows builds are available but their watch connection is unconfirmed, and Bluetooth is experimental. The app can also change settings and flash firmware, so start with activity backup and review each write separately.
- Keep older watches useful
- Read workouts without cloud sync
- Automate backups of your workout history
- Route and point-of-interest transfers
- Structured workouts for supported older watches
- Local settings and activity management
