Pair, remap and monitor Logitech gear on Linux
Solaar is a Linux app for Logitech keyboards, mice and other devices on Unifying, Bolt, Lightspeed or Nano receivers, USB or Bluetooth. It pairs and unpairs devices, shows battery level, changes device settings such as DPI, SmartShift and backlight, and diverts buttons to run rules you write. It talks to the devices over Logitech's HID++ protocol and keeps everything on your computer.
It is not a driver, so it only handles the special messages the Linux input system ignores. Which settings appear depends on the device; the project keeps a list of Unifying, Bolt and Lightspeed receivers and says some Nano receivers are only partly supported.
You need a Linux desktop with the Solaar package from your distribution, the Solaar PPA or a manual install. Logitech's own apps don't run on Linux.
