Control your TV from the Mac menu bar

Send remote buttons and volume commands from a Mac menu-bar panel over your local network. On Hisense VIDAA, Sofa also shows TV-supplied apps and inputs; upstream tested core controls on one A4K-series TV.

Google/Android TV support is experimental and tested only with local protocol fixtures. It requires Android TV Remote Service v2; app tiles open shortcuts rather than detect installed apps.

Use an Apple silicon Mac with macOS 26 or later and pair with the TV’s on-screen code. Feedback, input and wake behavior vary. Fire TV, Roku and Xumo are not implemented.
