Home Assistant Android TV Remote
Plug-inControl the TV from Home Assistant
This built-in integration lets Home Assistant, software for running your own smart-home automations, send remote buttons, text, app links, volume and power commands to Android TV and Google TV. It pairs over the local network with the TV's Android TV Remote Service and does not need ADB.
Run Home Assistant on another device and enter the pairing code shown by the TV. The integration cannot reliably report playback details, some TVs cannot wake while their network is asleep, and Fire TV does not provide the required remote service.
- Control it from Home Assistant
- Local power and volume automations
- Remote buttons and text entry
- Launch apps using supported links
