Bring smart status and controls into your home
SmartHashtag brings a European smart #1, #3 or #5 into Home Assistant, a home automation server. It reads battery charge, range, charging, location, doors and tyre pressures through the private API behind the Hello smart app, and can send charging and climate commands. Home Assistant can keep a history of these readings, and the project documents connections to route planning and solar charging tools.
You need Home Assistant and the smart account linked to your car; installation uses HACS, Home Assistant's community integration store. Core remote functions do not need smart's Premium Connectivity package, but the integration still depends on smart's cloud and can break when its login or API changes. The README says #5 seat heating is not yet working, and support outside the European app is unconfirmed.
